When will shipping and taxes be charged?

Due to the volatility of shipping prices globally right now, shipping fees plus any applicable taxes will be calculated and charged a month or two before fulfillment. This will allow us to obtain the most accurate estimates and gives us the greatest chance to provide the best value shipping option for you. We will alert backers with plenty of notice when shipping costs are finalised & before we charge the credit card registered in your BackerKit survey.

Is there an option for a retailer pledge?

At this stage we’re not planning on a retailer pledge as we are actively negotiating options for distribution and retail channels. Please send us an email to [email protected] about your interest in stocking Survival of the Fattest so that we can get back to you once we have more information.

Will Survival of the Fattest be translated into any other languages?

We are discussing options for localised and translated versions of Survival of the Fattest, but at this stage nothing has been confirmed. As part of the Kickstarter campaign we unlocked and will provide digital downloads of the rulebook translated into French, German, Italian and Spanish. These downloads will also contain a card glossary with translated references to card texts.

What add-ons can I add to my order?

You can add additional copies of the game Survival of the Fattest, clear card sleeves and the Mini Expansion Pack (this is already included in the Deluxe Kickstarter Edition, so no need to add it to that pledge level).

How do I add the add-ons?

You will have the chance to add add-ons to your pledge when the survey is sent out for the pledge manager.

Will the custom tray fit sleeved cards?

Yes, we are still finalising the design of the custom tray but will ensure that it fits sleeved cards!

Are pre-painted miniatures available?

Unfortunately, no.

Can I purchase a set of the miniatures on their own?

Unfortunately no. You can only obtain miniatures with a Deluxe Kickstarter Edition of the game.

Will I be be able to get the Deluxe Kickstarter Edition Exclusive Critter in the Standard Edition?

Unfortunately no. Rascal the fox is exclusive to the Deluxe Kickstarter Edition.

Is there a solo mode?

Yes! The game comes with a fun solo mode which provides gameplay similar to a real opponent. Face off against De Mort (vole), Harriet (hawk) or Alfie (wolf) to provide 3 levels of difficulty.

How do I update my shipping address?

Once you have completed the survey, the pledge manager allows you to update your shipping address until the project is locked for shipping. You can log back in at any time before your order is locked and follow the prompts to update your address. If you need to update your address after your order has been locked, please contact [email protected] and we’ll try and help.

I don't remember if I completed my survey/order or what shipping address I entered. How can I check?

Login to PledgeManager. From your my PledgeManager dashboard, you will be able to see what you ordered and where you have it being delivered for each project.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
